Home

I really hated my hometown growing up. Mostly because I lived here for fourteen years. I don't remember living anywhere else. However, after I came home from college, I realized how much I love this little town, not just because of the memories, but also because it is so green and cute. Other towns have plants, but they look too perfect and planned. These plants seem more natural. I also love the trees because they are big and, again, they seem real. Our city is the perfect blend between small town and industrialized. The center of town has 100 year-old buildings and family-owned donut shops, but on the outside edge are all the fast food restaurants and gas stations you need.

I love this video. It leaves me feeling happy and wanting to be a much better person.

It rocks

I really really love Cake.

I remember the first time I heard Short Skirt/Long Jacket. I fell in love with it immediately. And I think this is the most clever music video in the world.

And I love this song also. Almost entirely because of this video.

Cake has been my favorite band for years. I stopped listening to it when I came to college because I didn't want my roommate to judge me. However, a car ride last night reminded me of Cake's awesomeness.
